Feeling lonely after you had a baby? The good new Feeling lonely after you had a baby?

The good news is you don’t have to stay that way!

Before you tackle postpartum loneliness, here’s Before you tackle postpartum loneliness, here’s a few things to know:

1️⃣ It’s going to take some trial and error, so be patient with yourself

2️⃣ It’s going to take time and consistency to build relationships

3️⃣ You will probably have to push through some awkwardness or discomfort

4️⃣ Overcoming isolation will be a gift to both you AND your baby (even if he or she stays home while you are gone)

Now I encourage you to give the suggestions in the slides above a try!

What if I told you many other postpartum moms feel the same?

After I had my first baby, I was so isolated because I was struggling and the energy it took to pack up and leave the house… I just didn’t have it!

Loneliness postpartum is real and it’s hard. 

It can also change, but it will take some courage. 

I eventually learned that taking the step to join a weekly Bible study made all the difference. 

Was it hard to get out of the house and let my husband put the baby to bed? Yes, at first. 

Was it hard to “show up messy” and let other see me in my vulnerable state? Yes. 

But it was so worth it.

And so are you, momma! You are WORTH making some changes to enjoy your postpartum more.

I’ve been there too. 

Want to know what has made the most difference in overcoming overwhelm?

It’s learning how to focus on just how much I’ve grown. 🌿

It’s easy to focus on all the ways that we’re falling short or not doing enough in the day to day.

But confidence comes when we develop the skill to focus on taking a step back to look at our growth over time! 📈

Think of it like how we watch our babies grow. We may not see the small changes from day to day. But if you look at your baby’s photo a month or even two months apart you see huge growth.

The same is true in our postpartum!
